I cannot say enough good things about the team we call Wilostar3D. My son's light bulb is just now starting to glow thanks to the his hard work and the many Wilostar3D team members that have supported him during his first year. This team includes the students themselves, as my son has called on many of them to help him during the building phase of the assignments. He has made many new friends and actually looks forward to going to conference.

His teacher, Ms. Fitz answers his questions in a timely manner and directs him instead of giving him the answer. She is very patient with the teenagers and allows them to speak their mind as long as it is respectful. She encourages the kids creativity and actually comments on almost all of the assignments.

Once the building started I could see the excitement escalate, I think I even saw some concern about his grade which is a new concept for him. I can say honestly this school was the best decision I made for my son and I couldn't have asked for a better support system. While shopping for this school I came across many different online or home school programs that I researched. I want to repeat a great analogy that I heard while researching an alternative to public schools, when homeschooling keep in mind that Elementary school aged children-you are driving the home school car, Middle school age children-you are in the back seat of the home school car, High School age teenagers-you are not in the car at all. Wilostar holds true to that analogy, after the first week or two I was totally out of the home school car and loving life. I consider myself lucky to have found Wilostar.

I chose this school because of the feel of being on a campus with the social aspect being a big part of it. Whether it be a Halloween Party, or a social networking website for the kids to socialize after school hours. I have home schooled my son before with one of the prepackage deals that come in a box with all the supplies needed. My son needs more then that, he needs the person on the computer to answer to on a daily basis. The team building skills he is learning will come in handy for the rest of his life. This school allows me the flexibility to go anywhere, anytime as long as my son has his laptop with him, which is a blessing right now.

The traditional brick front schools are a thing of the past for my son and our family. We have combined the 2 online subjects (PE/Health/Drivers ED/Geometry) through our county's public school system with the courses here at Wilostar. This has allowed my son to be enrolled in both the public school system and Wilostar. The public school calls me for PSAT/SAT/SOL testing that needs to be done to allow him a transcript from a public school system and will add the accredited grades from Wilostar at the end of the year, all free of charge. Together they make a perfect match and keeps my son busy most of the day.

Search your options, call your county and make a recipe for the best education for your child. Please do yourself a favor and talk to some of this kids in this school before making any decisions. Allow your child to walk around the campus or sit in on one of the conference classes it will be well worth your time.
